THE URBAN PARKING CHALLENGE

Two Disconnected Realities In Colombo

Every day, drivers circle busy commercial blocks while secure private spaces sit idle behind closed gates just metres away.

For Drivers Searching For Parking

Still Looking For Somewhere To Park?

Whether arriving for morning work meetings or evening dinners, finding safe parking is often stressful and unpredictable.

  • !
Uncertain availability: Arriving at public bays only to find every spot occupied.
  • !
Extra time spent searching: Circling the same congested streets repeatedly.
  • !
Parking far away: Settling for unprotected road verges hundreds of metres from your actual destination.

For Space Owners & Commercial Lots

Space Sitting Empty?

Many private properties across Sri Lanka have covered bays, secure front yards, or commercial customer slots that remain empty throughout business hours.

  • ✓
Available driveways and private spaces: Dedicated parking capacity sitting completely unutilised.
  • ✓
Limited visibility to nearby drivers: Motorists have no way of knowing your space is available or welcome.
  • ✓
Missed opportunities to earn: An asset that could produce supplementary income with zero physical effort.

What booking durations will the app support?

OpenSpace supports flexible hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly parking arrangements, configured individually by each space owner to suit their schedule.
